I've always loved punk covers of songs. Take an old song and speed it up to million miles an hour and scream the lyrics and I am happy. This comic was trying to get at that idea in comic book form. All the drawings are from classic John Romita Sr. Spider-Man comics and I added as much grit and noise and trash I'd found in the street as I could (as well as some pictures of Johnny Ramone and Jonathan Richman). This was done back in 2003.
